Members of the Rhame Avenue School’s K-Kids club recently made a special delivery to the Bethany House in Roosevelt, a nonprofit shelter that provides housing to women and children facing homelessness.
The K-kids delivered Valentine’s Day party supplies, school supplies and games to the families who reside there. A cash donation was also given to the shelter, thanks to proceeds from the sale of Valentine hearts sold at the school, which were then displayed on a bulletin board there.
The K-Kids , which includes student athletes, enjoyed spending time with the children who live at Bethany House and celebrating the love of Valentine’s Day.
